The Bauchi State Police Command has launched an investigation into the death of a 41-year-old man, Benjamin Sule, who was found dead two days after he was reported to have gone missing.

Benjamin Sule, a former MTN staff, left his house located at Rafin Makaranta, opposite the School of Armour on Sunday, July 1, to see some people at Gwallameji area in the outskirts of Bauchi metropolis before he was declared missing.

Confirming the incident, the state police spokesman, DSP Kamal Datti Abubakar told journalists that police operatives attached to Yelwd a Division received information on July 4 that the dead body of an adult was seen on top of a hill.

”On receiving the information, the police team rushed to the scene and removed the corpse to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital for autopsy to ascertain the actual cause of death.
