The Bishop of Elekuro Diocese in Ibadan, Right Rev. James Olusegun, says a good leader must lead by example.

He spoke on Sunday at the Ist Annual Enrolment Service of the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade, 113th and 87th Ibadan Companies, Gangansi Section, Ibadan.

Olusegun, who reflected on some scriptural quotations, said a good leader must instil confidence in the people being led.

“God has shown that a good leader must provide for his company. The leader must, however, exercise restraint in the control of followers.

“ The review of the constitution is not enough. Leadership is the problem,’’ he said.

He expressed the hope that the new administration in the country would usher in peace and prosperity for all Nigerians,’’ he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) reports that the service witnessed the installation of patrons for the Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Brigade.

Among those honoured were the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Oyo State Council, Mr Gbenga Opadotun. NAN
