A mild drama played out on Friday at an Ikeja High Court as billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans, accused prison authorities of starving him for three days in a row.

The suspected kidnap kingpin made the allegation in a shouting match with prison officials immediately he was ushered into the courtroom.

Evans, who was shouting at the top of his voice, alleged that the prison authorities deprived him of change of clothes, food, and access to having his bath since Wednesday.

He said, “This is unfair, I have not been given food and change of clothes. I was not given an opportunity to bath on Wednesday. I am seriously hungry now.

“They locked us in one place, no food, no bathing.”

Counsel to the once dreaded kidnapper, Olukoya Ogungbeje attested to the fact that his client was being maltreated.
