A Lagos Federal High Court has adjourned the trial of billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudi Onwuamadike, also known as Evans.
Vacation judge, Justice Chuka Obiozor, while adjourning the trial till September 21, said there was no more urgency for the suit to be heard during the vacation.
Obiozor said the arraignment of Evans before the State High Court, had mitigated against any urgency in the suit.
Recall that the once notorious kidnapper had filed a N300m fundamental human right suit against the police while challenging his continued detention without arraignment.
The kidnap kingpin had last week pleaded guilty to charges of kidnapping and conspiracy.
