The ‘verbal war’ ignited by an evicted contestant, Gifty of the ongoing Big Brother Nigeria Reality Show, seems to have taken another turn as popular Nigerian singer, Banky said her apology was not necessary.
This is coming after Gifty apologized to Nigerians for saying she doesn’t know Banky W and Falz who visited the Big Brother house, while she was still in the house.
Gifty had caused a stir during her diary session, when she said she does not know Banky W and did not feel his presence.
When Big Brother asked her about how she felt about the presence of Banky in the house, Gifty, ‘in her exact words’ had said, “Banky W is proud. He was acting like he was paid to come and impress.”
Nigerians had dragged her to the mud and had reportedly launched campaign for her eviction.
But barely 24 hours after her eviction, the light-skinned lady took to her Instagram page to say she was misunderstood when she said she didn’t know Banky.
According to her, what she actually meant was ‘I’ve never met him in person.’
In a swift response on his account @bankywellington, the songster wrote: “No apology necessary dear.
“You played the game your way.
“Best of luck to you going forward.”
