Leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign state of Biafra, MASSOB, Uchenna Madu, has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari’s alleged leadership style of “enforcing and imposing Islamic Hausa Fulani agenda on the rest of Nigerians” will accelerate the actualisation of an independent State of Biafra.

In a statement he personally signed, Madu stressed that the group remains determined towards the restoration of an Igbo nation.

The leader of the pro-Biafra group disclosed that MASSOB is approaching the struggle with every revolutionary methodology that would soon lead to the actualisation of Biafra.

According to Madu, “The current Biafran struggle will continue to unfold confusing methods to President Muhammadu Buhari and his Islamic minded fundamentalists

“Buhari’s military civilian administration is the worst government, Nigeria ever experienced, his leadership style of enforcing and imposing Islamic Hausa Fulani agenda on the rest of Nigeria people is tremendously assisting and justifying our struggle for Biafra actualization.

“MASSOB also wishes to inform President Buhari that arresting and detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi and many other IPOB members including MASSOB members only worsens the problem and underscores Nigeria as a creeping and repressive colonial state.

“For these reasons, true nationhood has remained stillborn, peace has remained elusive and Nigeria has remained in perpetual strife and ever increasing crisis since her founding.

“These undeniable realities are the reason the Nigerian state is afraid of Biafra and her agitators because we speak of a truth they cannot legitimately counter.

“We speak of a truth they know they are guilty of, so out of weakness and fear, they resort to repression, persecution and detention.”
