Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari, should have apologized to members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), instead of ‘killing them’.
Fani-Kayode, comparing the agitation for Biafra to Catalonia’s referendum, also stated that the proscription of IPOB was wrong.
He wrote on Twitter Saturday evening: “‘Catalonia referendum: Spain apologises to injured Catalans’- BBC
“They didn’t kill them or declare them as terrorists! ARE U LISTENING!”
Fani-Kayode had also hailed the Ooni of Ife’s stance on IPOB.
The former Minister said he was “proud” of Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi for flaying the proscription of the group.
