Men of the Nigeria Police Force on Wednesday prevented members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, from gaining entrance into the premises of the Federal High Court to witness the trial of Nnamdi Kanu.

Leader of the pro-Biafra group alongside three others, David Nwawuisi, Benjamin Madubugwu and Chidiebere Onwudiwe are currently facing trial at the court led by Justice Binta Nyako for terrorism charges.

The officers deployed to the court also stopped some journalists from getting into the court to observe the proceedings.

Kanu, who doubles as the Director of Radio Biafra has been incarcerated since 2015 when he was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, in Lagos.

Earlier, a group of IPOB members stormed the court in Jewish attires to witness the court case.
