Biafra: Omokri reacts to Lai Mohammed’s insistence that IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu are terrorists

Former Special Adviser on New Media to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, on Thursday reacted to Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed’s latest claim on the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Mohammed had insisted that the pro-Biafra group and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu are terrorists.

Featuring on BBC Focus Africa, on Wednesday, the Minister expressed regrets that the United States, US, does not share the same view with Nigeria on IPOB, a situation he described as “unfortunate.”

However, Omokri, who faulted Mohammed’s Federal Government’s stance on IPOB wondered why herdsmen who “do violence and killing” are not considered as terrorists.

In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Omokri wrote: “Lai told @BBC IPOB talk about violence and it makes them terrorists. Herdsmen dont talk. They DO VIOLENCE & KILLING. What does it make them?”
