Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu speaks for Hausa/Fulani detainees, says Buhari does not think [VIDEO]

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has lamented the number of Nigerians in Kuje prison without trial.

The IPOB leader was speaking immediately after the hearing of his bail application at Federal High Court in Abuja.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is on trial for alleged treasonable felony against the Federal Government.

He was speaking on behalf some Hausa/Fulani detainees, who, according to him, have spent almost five years in Kuje Prison.

Kanu noted that over 2000 detainees are languishing in Kuje prison.

Pointing at the family members of the detainees he said, “These people have been in detention for five years without trial.

“That’s what they do in this country, very terrible.

“Over two thousand people locked down there without trial and this is not justice in any shape or form.

“Here, people don’t reason. That’s why they are detained. Their children have been there for a very long time.

“Usman Abubakar is in detention; Motab Umar is in detention; and DSS don’t want to bring them to court. Ibrahim Yahaya is there as well, Musa Karamu is also there.”
