Biafra: IPOB ‘attacks’ Yoruba, Hausa people over Nnamdi Kanu’s detention

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has lambasted the North and Western Nigeria for being silent over the alleged illegal detention of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Recall that Kanu has been in detention since he was arrested by the Department of State Services, DSS, last year.

In a statement by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, the pro-Biafra group frowned at Yoruba and the Hausa people for not speaking against the injustice meted out to Kanu.

The group claimed that Nigeria’s current crises is because God is angry with the nation over the alleged illegal detention of its leader.

The statement reads: “The indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide and the Directorate of State (DOS) want to use this medium to let Nigerians and the world understand that the leader of the indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the director of Radio and Biafra television, Prophet Nnamdi Kanu, committed no crime against the government of Nigeria and her citizens.

“Nevertheless, the people of Arewa and Oduduwa nations that are supposed to condemn the illegal detention of mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the persecution of the people of Biafra, but refused to speak against it because it does not concern their people, will soon get to know how God works, and in no distant future they will hear the actual message from God with the plan he has for the people of Biafra.

“The arrest and the illegal detention of the leader of IPOB worldwide is the worst thing that can happen to Nigeria today, because it is Nnamdi Kanu’s anger that made God Almighty to be angry with the government and the country as well.

“Nnamdi Kanu is a peaceful man that knows the law and how to use diplomatic way to get what he wants without shedding blood in the quest to restore God’s nation, Biafra.

“The quest for the restoration of the ancient nation of Biafra led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is now getting kudos from the people of northern and western Nigeria, mainly the northern Christians and some Muslims who believe in justice in this contraption called Nigeria.

“God Almighty (Chukwu Okike Abiama) creates nations not man. How can ordinary man come in from a far and join nations of different value system together with the consultation of our fathers you call it a country?”
