Ahead of the Benue South senatorial rerun slated for Saturday, February 20, the immediate past governor of the state, Gabriel Suswam has called on the people of the zone to come out enmass to re-elect the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the rerun election, Sen. David Mark come Saturday.
According to Suswam, the former Senate President had stood by them through thick and thin, and thus deserved to return to the red chamber of the national assembly.
The former governor believes that failure of the Benue South natives to reelect Mark will do more harm to them than good.
“People of Zone C, I urge you to come out in your number to vote Sen. David Mark back to the Senate. He has stood for you in both happy and sad times put your region on the map of things in Benue and in Nigeria. Vote wisely,” he said via his official Facebook page.
