Barnabas Gemade
A founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Barnabas Gemade has clinched the Benue Northeast senatorial primary ticket of the All progressives Congress (APC) a few hours after decamping from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Gemade will now contest against incumbent governor, Gabriel Suswam during next year’s general elections.
DAILY POST had reported that Gemade decamed from the ruling PDP to the APC over disagreements in the party.
