Photographs of youths in their hundreds protesting the killings of people of Benue State by Fulani herdsmen have emerged online.
The youths on Wednesday converged at the popular Food Basket Roundabout in Wurukum, Makurdi, the state capital to express their displeasure with the killing.
The aggrieved youths who wielded posters called on President Muhammadu Buhari to “act now or resign.”
Recall that the State Governor, Samuel Ortom had confirmed that at least 20 people were killed after suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked communities in Guma and Logo local government areas of the state between Monday and Tuesday, last week.
Ortom disclosed this while briefing newsmen on Tuesday in Makurdi after the State security meeting.
