Governor Samuel Ortom directs the Benue State Urban Development Board to immediately stop the renaming of major streets in Gboko and to dismantle the name plates mounted on the affected streets.
The Governor particularly directs the General Manager of the Board to reverse the renaming of Ahmadu Bello Way Gboko where the agency yesterday mounted a plate bearing his name.
He further directs the General Manager to explain within 24 hours why the agency embarked on the renaming of major streets without approval.
