Rafa Benitez has been confirmed as Dalian Yifang manager, after leaving Newcastle.
“After a long path… We start a new challenge! I´m happy to begin this new project with Dalian Yifang,” the former Chelsea and Liverpool boss tweeted.
The Spaniard’s departure from Tyneside was announced last week after failing to agree a contract extension.
Benitez then released a statement on Monday, claiming that Mike Ashley and Newcastle’s board didn’t share his vision for the club.
And just 24 hours later, he is back in management after agreeing a bumper deal in China.
Benitez is reportedly set to pocket an amazing £12m-a-year in China after agreeing a deal with Dalian Yifang.
Newcastle are yet to announce his successor, with former Swansea and Birmingham boss, Garry Monk, being among the favourites.
