Ben Murray-Bruce, the Senator representing Bayelsa East, has hailed the visit of former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar, to the State.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Murray-Bruce stated that he was convinced that Atiku was the choice to get the country working again.
He wrote: “Successful outing in Bayelsa State, ‘The Glory of all lands’. Always a wonderful time in the presence of my people.
“I am excited at the passionate welcome of @atiku. My people and I are convinced that he is the choice to get Nigeria working again.”
Atiku was accompanied by a former Governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, on the courtesy visit to Bayelsa Governor, Seriake Dickson.
After a close-door meeting with Dickson, he visited the PDP secretariat where he addressed a crowd of party supporters (http://dailypost.ng/2018/06/20/2019-election-can-face-force-apc-ruining-nigeria-atiku/).
