The Senator representing Bayelsa East in the National Assembly, Ben Bruce, has reacted to the defection of Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
DAILY POST reports that Tambuwal announced his defection on Wednesday while addressing a gathering at Government House, Sokoto.
His resignation was contained in a statement he issued on Wednesday.
Reacting to the development, Bruce on his Twitter page welcomed him to PDP.
He wrote, ”Welcome home to the @OfficialPDPNig, my good friend @AWTambuwal.
” Finally, the deck is taking shape and together, we will return power to the #Nigerian people come 2019.”
