Beijing Enterprises FC manager, Hongbo Gao, has called on the club’s supporters to be patient with new signing, Victor Anichebe, as he regains full fitness.
Gao described Anichebe as a top striker, but admitted he would need time to get into his groove, after an injury-hit season in the Premier League with Sunderland.
“Victor (Anichebe) hasn’t trained since the Premier League season ended, so it may take him time to integrate into our team. We have to be patient with him.
“We are delighted with the signing of Victor (Anichebe), who has played in the Premier League.
“It’s a positive development for our club,” he said.
The Nigerian joined on a free transfer after he was released by the Black Cats.
