Kingsley Moghalu, former Young Progressives Party, YPP, presidential candidate, on Monday, faulted youths watching the Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, ongoing reality television show.
Moghalu said Nigerian youth cheat themselves for not voting but opting to follow reality television show.
In a tweet, the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, also berated youths for investing less time on knowledge.
“Our youth cheat themselves when they don’t vote, spend their time on the wrong things on social media, follow the glitterati (@BBNaijafan) instead of the literati (knowledge), and vote, not for ‘ought to win’ but ‘likely to win’ (bandwagon to nowhere, i.e. one chance!),” he wrote.
