Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has warned that his side will not sit back and watch Bayern Munich overpower them in Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final first leg clash at the Allainz Arena.
According to him, his players are going to give 150% against the Bundesliga champions.
Zidane, however, said the Los Blancos have no other trophy to fight for, so they are prepared to give Bayern a good fight.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Bayern, Zidane told reporters: “We are not going to s**t in our pants, there is no such thing.”
“With no other trophy to fight for, there is importance placed on winning the third Champions League in a row.
“More than thinking about winning the Champions League, we think about playing a good match.
“Every player wants to play in these type of matches, which are more difficult when you play against a different opponent.”
“I have no doubt that we will be at 150%.”
