Bauchi LG Chairman dies in auto crash

The caretaker committee chairman of Zaki local government area of Bauchi State, Alhaji Muhammad Yalwaji Sakwa is dead.
Sakwa died in a car accident in Gada area, alongside his driver.
A statement by the Special Assistant to the Bauchi State governor on Communications, Shamsuddeen Lukman Abubakar, yesterday announced the incident.
Sakwa who was sworn in alongside 19 other caretaker chairmen only in August, and his driver were buried Sunday evening yesterday according to Islamic rites.
Bauchi State APC Publicity Secretary, Auwal Jallah described Sakwa as a cool tempered and grassroots politician whose death was a great loss to the state, the party and the people of Zaki local government area.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chairman of Anka Local Government Area in Zamfara, Alhaji Yahuza Ibrahim, kidnapped last week is still being held.
