Bogoro council Chairman in Bauchi state, Mr Elisha Tula Gwamis has warned his kinsmen not to allow themselves to be deceived by Abuja politicians in their move against the All Progressive Congress in the state ahead of 2019 election.
Gwamis cautioned perceived political enemies of president Muhammadu Buhari and that of governor Abubakar to desist from plotting against the president.
The council chairman made the statement while addressing APC supporters in Bogoro, the hometown of Speaker Yakubu Dogara.
He said if it’s true that the Speaker is still in APC, why then did the party lose to PDP in his hometown in the recent bye-election in the state.
“I have warned you to be careful ahead of 2019 election especially to stay away from our politicians living in Abuja and are fighting President Buhari and governor Abubakar through splinter groups within and outside the APC for their selfish gains,” said Gwamis.
The chairman regretted that the political war between Abubakar and Dogara has affected development in the state.
Gwamis cautioned Dogara not to hesitate in mending political fence with Abubakar as a move to truly exonerate himself on the alleged fighting of Buhari and APC
“Don’t vote for PDP come 2019 and its nPDP members because they are out, fighting for their personal interest.
He said the Abuja politicians have always planted seed of discord within the party, saying Nigerians should not support them in future elections.
It would be recalled that governor Abubakar and Speaker Dogara have been in political war over the control of APC in Bauchi state since the emergence of this administration.
