A former presidential candidate, Alhaji Bashir Usman Tofa, believes that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will defeat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2015.
According to him, the ruling party would lose the presidential election scheduled for next year February “if the conduct is free and fair.”
Tofa spoke in an interview with the Voice of America, Hausa Service in Kaduna on Monday.
He hinted that said the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, may eventually join the presidential race on the platform of the APC.
The politician stated that majority of Nigerians were tired of having PDP at the centre.
He said that with the support of the people, “the APC will take over reins of power in 2015”.
