New Barcelona manager, Ernesto Valverde, has once again reiterated that Neymar will not leave the club this summer.
Valverde was responding to questions about the Brazilian’s future, after he scored the winner in their pre-season friendly against Manchester United on Wednesday.
After the match ended, Neymar was seen in Barca t-shirt chatting with United midfielder, Paul Pogba.
“The news on Neymar is he’s very happy to talk with some of his friends from Manchester,” Valverde said at his post-match news conference.
“There’s no more news. He’s with us.”
Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be ready to activate the 25-year-old’s €222million release clause.
