But goals from Paco Alcacer and Lionel Messi in the first half sealed a comfortable victory for the league leaders.
It also stretched their unbeaten run to 35 games in the league.
Barca are now 11 points clear at the top, with nine games to play after Atletico Madrid’s 2-1 defeat at Villarreal.
