Wilfried Kaptoum scored a late equalizer for Barcelona on Wednesday, as the Catalans drew 1-1 with Valencia, in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final tie.
The draw extended their unbeaten record to 29 games, beating a club record set by Pep Guardiola’s team in the 2010/2011 season.
Barca were last beaten by Sevilla over four months ago, but manager Luis Enrique insisted that records were not his priority.
“When the season ends I’ll tell you if we have done something good,” the Barca coach said after their 28th unbeaten game, against Levante..
“It’s better to get to 100 [matches] than 50, but I do not care about the numbers. I am interested in collective goals that we have as a team, like winning the league.”
The Nou Camp club will be looking to make it 30 games unbeaten, when they take on Enrique’s former team Celta Vigo this weekend.
