Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, has said he is expecting Lionel Messi to feature against Real Madrid on November 21.
Messi picked up a knee injury in the win over Las Palmas in September and was ruled out for six to eight weeks.
Contrary to reports last week, that the Argentine captain was a week behind schedule in his recovery, Bartomeu insists that he will be available for coach Luis Enrique.
“I hope he can play as his recovery is within the timeframe we had set ourselves,” he is quoted as saying by Marca.
Bartomeu also prayed that Barcelona will have all their players back in good health after the international break.
“I hope all of our players get through their trips with their national teams without injury and with great strength,” he added.
“We will then give our all to beat our rivals.”
Barca are currently three points clear of Madrid at the top of La Liga.
