Barcelona leave out Messi, Neymar from pre-season tour

Lionel Messi and Neymar will not travel with their Barcelona team-mates, when they fly out for their US tour this month.

The South American forwards, are among the five players who featured in the Copa America earlier this summer.

Claudio Bravo, Javier Mascherano and Dani Alves are the three others, who will not play in the three-match International Champions Cup, which starts against the LA Galaxy at the Rose Bowl on Tuesday, followed by games against Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea.

However, new signings Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal, have been included in the 24-man squad.

Goalkeepers: Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Jordi Masip, Jose Suarez

Defenders: Gerard Pique, Marc Bartra, Douglas, Jordi Alba, Adriano, Thomas Vermaelen, Jeremy Mathieu

Midfielders: Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta, Rafinha, Sergi Roberto, Arda Turan, Aleix Vidal, Alen Halilovic, Sergi Samper, Gerard Gumbau

Forwards: Pedro, Luis Suarez, Sandro, Munir El Haddadi.
