Barcelona announce £41.7m deal for Andre Gomes

andreBarcelona have confirmed they have struck a deal with Valencia for Portugal international, Andre Gomes.

The fee for the 22-year-old is believed to be £41.7m.

Gomes was attracting attention from Real Madrid and Manchester United, but Barca have now clinched his signature.

“Agreement with Valencia for Andre Gomes. The player will both sign and be presented as a new Barcelona player next week,” the Catalan club tweeted.

The former Benfica man is expected to sign a five-year deal at the Nou Camp.
