“Banky W tells a beautiful love story” – A review of the video for Yes/No

The much talked about Banky W’s ‘Yes/No’ video has finally been released.

The 5minutes video of the Yes/No lead single from Banky W’s #R&BW album tells a beautiful love story.

It interestingly tells the story of a couple who fell in love in secondary school, met again after so many years, encountered some challenges but despite all odds, managed to come together in the end.

There were no dull moments in the video even though there were scenes that weren’t exactly relevant.

One of the most interesting scenes in the video was the last scene where Banky W (the lover in question) went to propose with a note containing a “Will you marry me Yes /yes (A ‘struck out” No) option.

The dance moves by Banky W and his back-up dancers were good enough to keep the viewers glued to the very end, but the Kukere dance style was the most outstanding of the moves. It would have been nicer if more minutes were spent on the kukere dance.
