Banky W, Olamide, Efe react to Plateau killings

Nigerian celebrities have taken to their social media pages to express their sadness over the Jos massacre which occurred on Sunday.

Attackers are believed to be Fulani herdsmen.

Reacting, popular Nigerian singer cum actor, Banky W has reacted to the recent killing of about 200 people in the Church of Christ In Nations (COClN) and Regional Church Council (RCC), in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, Plateau State.

DAILY POST reports that Plateau Police Command on Sunday confirmed the killing of 86 persons in the attacks on Razat, Ruku, Nyarr, Kura and Gana-Ropp villages of Gashish District in Barkin Ladi Local Government.

Also hit were Daffo and Kuba communities in Bokkos Local Government.

Reacting to the attack, Banky W took to his Twitter page expressing sadness over the massacre.

He described the killings in Plateau as heartbreaking while calling on God to help Nigerians.

He wrote “First it was Daniel the 3rd (RIP), now reading another heartbreaking massacre in Plateau state. So much death. I’m sad.. in my soul. Hard finding the right words to even pray. God help us.”

Popular rapper, Olamide on his part wrote: “My heart goes to the people of Plateau state.”

Also, 2017 Big Brother Naija winner, Efe reacting on his Instagram page wrote, “The killings in Plateau State must stop, how can people go to bury their dead be killed too.

“How much can we endure, that’s how the “Dogon Nahawa” killings have been forgotten. 2019 is coming and we might repeat our mistakes again. I’m raging in anger right now. May God rest their souls.”
