“Balotelli and Mancini are like husband and wife” – Raiola

Mario Balotelli’s agent, Mino Raiola, has likened the Italian’s relationship with Manchester City boss, Roberto Mancini, to that of a husband and wife. The manager has endured countless antics from his compatriot, ever since he signed him from Inter Milan and he was dropped for last weekend’s win over Tottenham Hotspur.

But Raiola maintained they both have a great relationship. “His relationship with Mancini is like that between a husband and his wife,” Raiola told Radio CRC. “They argue but they love and respect each other so much.

“Everyone has their own ideas, but Mario will remain at Manchester City. He won’t go to AC Milan.

“He will be a City player for at least another two-and-a-half years because Mario is not thinking about other clubs.”
