Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has revealed that Gareth Bale has apologized to the team, after he was sent off in Wednesday’s 3-3 draw against Las Palmas.

Bale picked up two yellow cards as Madrid were reduced to 10 men.

Isco’s early goal was cancelled out by Tana, before Gareth Bale was sent off for violent conduct. Viera and Boateng gave the visitors a two-goal lead, but Cristiano Ronaldo scored a penalty and a textbook header to level up.

Asked about Bale’s red card, Zidane told reporters: “He has apologised. He is not happy with the expulsion.

“This can happen, it is a fact of the game and we cannot change it.

“I used to be happy after the matches and now I cannot be happy lately, but this is a very long season and we are going to change it.”
