Coach Mohammed Babaganaru has extended his contract with Kano Pillars.
The tactician joined the former Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) team from Nasarawa United, at the middle of least season.
He was not able to lead the Sai Masugida to a successful defence of their title, as they finished in eighth place. However, the management of Pillars have decided to give him a one-year extension.
The Kano club are preparing for a better outing in the new season and have secured the services of home-based Eagles duo Austine Obaroakpo and Chisom Chikatara from Abia Warriors.
