Ayew named EPL player of the month for August, Pellegrini wins prize for coach

Swansea City’s Andre Ayew, has been awarded the Barclays Premier League Player of the Month for August.

The Black Stars captain slipped seamlessly into English football and has scored three times in their opening four matches.

Manuel Pellegrini was named Manager of the Month, after his Manchester City team started the season like a train on fire.

City are currently top of the league, after a perfect month. The former champions won all their games, scored 10 goals and conceded none.
