Andre Ayew has confirmed that he and his brother, Jordan, have agreed to return to the Black Stars, after a metting with President John Mahama on Tuesday.
According to reports, the Minister of Sports Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah and Ghana FA Vice President Fred Crentsil, were present in the meeting at the Flagstaff House in Accra.
“Everything is OK and I hope things with the Ghana federation will be better,” Andre said after the meeting.
“We cannot play football with conditions. We play football with our heart. There are no conditions set to our comeback.
“What matters is the best for our country. We are back to do everything and let Ghana qualify for the World Cup.”
The u-turn means that the Marseille players, will be available for Ghana’s final 2014 World Cup qualifier against Zambia. Both players quit the national team, after expressing their unhappiness with some of the people managing the team.
