Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala has won the 2016 African Women’s Cup of Nations’ Golden Boot.
The Arsenal Ladies failed to score in the final but her team-mate, Desire Oparanozie netted the winning goal, as the Super Falcons won 1-0.
It is the second time the Super Falcons have defeated a host nation to win the tournament.
This also makes it the 10th time that the Super Falcons have conquered the continent.
Oshoala finished the tournament with six goals, three clear of Oparanozie and Ghana’s Elizabeth Addo.
She becomes the fourth Nigerian player, after Mercy Akide, Perpetua Nkwocha and Oparanozie, to finish as the tournament’s top scorer.
