Audu’s son condemns APC’s selection of Bello; Faleke to address media today

Mohammed, the eldest son of the late Prince Abubakar Audu on Sunday said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) had not informed him of the party’s replacement of his dad.

He spoke at a news conference in Audu’s hometown, Ofu local government area of the state.

The briefing was attended by the late Audu’s running mate, Hon. James Faleke.

Mohammed declined to speak further on the issue because it was the Eighth day prayer for his father.

“Any attempt to replace him while the mourning period is ongoing is a backyard move.

“Our mission here is to pray for the repose of his soul. It is too soon to be discussing politics. I will like us to focus more on the mourning.

“As you can see, people are still wearing long faces”, he said.

Faleke declined to comment on Audu’s replacement, promising to address a news conference today.
