Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, began his stint in charge of the Gunners with a 6-0 drubbing of Boreham Wood on Saturday.
Emery replaced Arsene Wenger in May and has gone about rebuilding the squad and instilling his style into the players.
The former Paris Saint-Germain boss named a strong side for the pre-season friendly and watched on as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s hat-trick and goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Reiss Nelson, gave them a 5-0 lead at the break.
The Spaniard sent out a different side for the second half and there were three more goals.
Eddie Nketiah, Jeff Rene-Adelaide and Henrikh Mkhitaryan all got on the scoresheet, as the Gunners began the pre-season in an emphatic manner.
