Jurgen Klopp’s men equalized late on from the penalty spot through Roberto Firmino.

Durign the shoot-out, Atletico scored all five of their penalties in the shoot-out, but Jordan Henderson was the unlucky man for the Reds, seeing his kick saved by Miguel Angel Moya’s feet.
