Atiku finally speaks on fuel scarcity

Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has spoken out on the ongoing nationwide fuel scarcity in the country.

Atiku took to his Twitter page on Sunday morning, to sympathize with Nigerians, who are unable to travel or carry our their business transactions because of the unavailability of PMS.

“My heart goes out to everyone struggling to see their friends and families during this season of celebration due to the #fuelscarcity and I am confident that as we unite as a nation we can find a solution to this crisis,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, staff of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) have cancelled their Christmas holiday, in a bid to ensure the lingering fuel scarcity is curtailed.

This was revealed by President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, via his Twitter handle on Saturday.
