Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President, on Wednesday reacted to the defection of Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The former Speaker’s defection was contained in a statement he issued on Wednesday.
Reacting to the defection, the Waziri of Adamawa welcomed the governor back to the PDP.
In a tweet, Abubakar wrote: “Governor @AWTambuwal welcome home to the @OfficialPDPNig, the only truly pan-Nigerian party.”
Also, Femi Fani-Kayode, former aviation minister commended Tambuwal for defecting from the ruling APC to the PDP.
In a tweet, he described the Sokoto Governor as a dynamic and inspiring leader.
“Glad that my friend and brother,Gov. Aminu Tambuwal, has left the Association of Pedophiles and Coprophiliacs (APC) and returned to the land of the living.
“He is a young, strong, vibrant, pragmatic, dynamic and inspiring leader who has much to offer. We are blessed to have him back!,” he tweeted
