ASAP Rocky released from Swedish custody

US President, Donald Trump has announced the release of American rapper, ASAP Rocky, also known as Rakim Myers.

DAILY POST earlier reported that ASAP was charged with assault in Sweden, over his alleged involvement in a street brawl.

The 30-year-old rapper has been in Swedish custody since July 3, alongside his entourage, in connection with a fight in central Stockholm on June 30.

Expressing joy over his release, American President, Donald Trump took to his twitter page to announce the good news.

“A$AP Rocky released from prison and on his way home to the United States from Sweden.

“It was a Rocky Week, get home ASAP A$AP!,” he wrote.

Donald Trump had earlier attacked Swedish government over the arrest of the young rapper.
