AS Roma vs Chelsea: Conte’s men suffer heavy defeat

Chelsea suffered a shock 3-0 defeat in the hands of AS Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Italian side went top of Group C after dismantling Chelsea at the Stadio Olimpico, courtesy of a Stephan El Shaarawy brace.
A cross into the penalty area glanced off Edin Dzeko’s shoulder and bounced right to El Shaarawy who blasted a right-footed shot past Thibaut Courtois for the early lead.
The Blues then missed 3 good chances in the opening half hour.
Cesc Fabregas fired wide from 18 yards, before Eden Hazard shot right at Allison in the Roma goal while Alvaro Morata skied one over the crossbar at very close range.
The victory put the Serie A side one point ahead of Chelsea in the table.
