Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla, has said that they are looking at turning their style into success, like Barcelona have done in Spain and Europe.
The Gunners are hoping to win their first Premier League title since 2004 next season, after claiming back-to-back FA Cups.
Cazorla believes it is time for Arsenal to aim for bigger trophies and replicate the success of the La Liga team, who clinched their fourth Champions League title in nine years this month.
“If Arsenal can in the future reach the level of Barcelona, that’s the goal,” Cazorla told Goal.
“Barcelona are the reference point for the football world and all of us want to be closer to them.
“All teams want to win and to do it like Barcelona. We at Arsenal like that philosophy too”.
The 30-year-old also denied that he was not planning to return to Spain, having been linked with a transfer to Atletico Madrid.
