Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, has revealed injury concerns in his squad, ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash against Newcastle United at the Emirates.
Wenger confirmed that Shkodran Mustafi is back in training, but failed to confirm if the German defender will be selected for the game.
“Mustafi is back in training today. I don’t know if I will include him tomorrow, it’s still a little gamble. Apart from that, we’ll see how everyone recovers. I rotate a little bit at the moment, we’ve played four games in basically nine days,” the Frenchman explained.
However, midfielder Aaron Ramsey, has been ruled out for the next three weeks with a hamstring problem.
Ramsey was expected to be out for a short period, but will not miss key games against Liverpool and Chelsea.
“Aaron Ramsey, of course, will not be available (for Newcastle). It’s maybe three weeks, so he’s not in contention for the next three weeks,” Wenger added.
