Arsenal vs Manchester City: Unai Emery names three Arsenal players he will sell

Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, has identified three players who could leave the club at the end of the season, as he prepares for his opening Premier League fixture.

Emery takes charge of his first competitive game as Gunners boss against Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday.

Ahead of the match, the former PSG boss explained how he has now assessed his Arsenal team during their pre-season tour of Asia and believes there are three players who could be sold at the end of the campaign.

“We only have three players: Carl Jenkinson, David Ospina and Joel Campbell, with the possibility to leave,” he admitted.

On the season ahead, he added: “We are excited. We have a lot of ambition to start [well] on Sunday against the last winners of the Premier League.

“Also, I think that it’s a big and great match that we can play to start this season.

“We are working to improve each match and each training session. But Sunday, we need to show on the pitch our performance at a big level.

“The opposition is demanding our best moments tactically and also individually. It’s for that, that on Sunday I want first to be together with our supporters.”
