Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has admitted that Alvaro Morata may be having confidence issues.
Sarri, speaking after their International Champions Cup match against Arsenal on Wednesday, however, said he was not worried for Morata.
The Spaniard saw his first-half penalty saved by Petr Cech and missed a raft of other chances to double their lead, before Alexandre Lacazette equalized with the last kick of the ball.
“I don’t know if he’s not confident. Maybe he was tired – the last three days for him we’re intense, but I’m not worried about Morata,” Sarri told reporters.
When the Italian asked about Willian, who is yet to report for pre-season training, he replied: “I want to speak to him before I answer this question. I’m not happy about this situation but I want to speak to him.”
