Arsenal will demand £80million for Alexis Sanchez, as Manchester City prepare to make the first official offer.
According to the UK Mirror, City chiefs are expected to table an opening bid of £50m for the Chile international, who only has a year left on his contract at the Emirates.
Sources close to the player, claim he has told the Gunners that he wants to leave, despite being offered a £300,00-a-week two-year contract.
Arsenal’s hierarchy will however stand firm on their valuation and run the risk of Sanchez leaving on a free transfer next summer.
City manager, Pep Guardiola put Sanchez on his wishlist when he agreed to become City boss more than a year ago and although Arsene Wenger has been adamant that they will not do business with a Premier League rival, he might be forced to sell.
